First Workout for 14-17-Year-Old Players Set for Saturday, December 14 at Al Trione Sports Complex, Daphne, AL
DAPHNE, AL (November 11, 2024) – GRID Camps and SCHOOLS are teaming up to launch GRID Camps Powered By CLEARED, a unique program designed to elevate high school athletes’ athletic and academic performance, preparing them for college football recruitment and success. This partnership combines GRID's elite football training with SCHOOLS' proven academic readiness program, creating a pathway for student-athletes to stand out to college scouts nationwide.
The first workout is scheduled for Saturday, December 14, at Al Trione Sports Complex in Daphne, AL, for football players aged 14-17. Seniors are welcome to participate and showcase their skills. Athletes must register for both the GRID workout at gridcamps.com and the CLEARED program at schoolstestprep.com. Enrollment in both programs is required to participate.
GRID Camps will provide on-field training with technical skill-building, verified performance testing, and direct exposure to college scouts. Led by accomplished coaches, including Marvin Jones (one of the greatest linebackers in college football history, 11-year NFL veteran, and College Football Hall of Famer), John DeFilippo (Super Bowl champion coach), Eugene Chung (former NFL lineman and Super Bowl champion coach), and Norm Chow (three-time NCAA champion coach who has mentored some of the most notable quarterbacks in college football history), GRID Camps is known for its high-caliber preparation and training environment.
CLEARED provides critical academic and life skills for student-athletes, focusing on:
