GRID Camps set to host its first free-agent football camp August 13 in West Chester, PA

GRID Camps, a free agent football platform founded by former HUB Football Chief Operating Officer Tom Goodhines, will host its first free agent camp on Sunday, August 13 at West Chester (PA) University, just outside Philadelphia.

GRID Camps will be a rolling series of one-day events – slated to occur in cities throughout the United States – that will offer an opportunity for athletes to work out in an NFL OTA-style setting. Athletes will also have a chance to be "verified" with athletic testing by professional scouts and coaches.

“I’m excited to take the skills I learned from HUB Football and apply them to GRID Camps,” said Goodhines. “I’m very thankful to HUB Football and its founder Don Yee and excited about the opportunity to create a new pathway for aspiring athletes.”

GRID Camps are designed specifically to help propel street free agents and college athletes (portal or incoming college athletes) toward their next football destination.

GRID Camps will provide players with an on-field regiment that focuses on technique instruction to highlight their individual skill sets.  Led by current and former professional and FBS college coaches, GRID Camps' rosters will be curated to present the best players on a neutral platform.

GRID Camps will maintain a network of direct relationships with professional and collegiate leagues and teams to share player data, video and whatever is necessary to enhance the exposure GRID participants receive.  Most importantly, pro personnel will have a chance to attend and receive all data collected by GRID for their own independent evaluations.

The goal is to have every invited player affirm that GRID helped them improve as a player, while providing a unique opportunity for professional organizations to analyze, in-person or through film, a wide collection of elite talent in one setting.

GRID CAMPS

GRID Camps’ on-field workouts are by invitation only – all applicants will be pre-screened by GRID’s scouting team to ensure they are of professional quality talent. GRID Camps are non-contact and non-padded and conducted in a safe environment, prioritizing the athlete's health for immediate opportunities.  Athletes must apply for admission, receive an invitation, and complete registration payment in order to attend.

"GRID VERIFIED"

Is open to any athlete (over age 18) that wants to have their measurables "verified" by professional scouts and coaches.  Athletes will have their height, weight, arm, hand and wingspan "verified," as well as standard testing of 40s, Short Shuttle (Pro Agility), 3-Cone (L Drill), Broad Jump and Vertical confirmed.  This portion is separate from the "invite only" part of the event.
